Dania and Tinkles made their way to Wickshire in a foldable boat and arrived to find Griff with a newcomer, an otherworldly gorgeous blonde...who went by the name of Callie.
It was revealed that Callie and Griff undertook a special mission and sacred duty to report in to their home in the mountains west of Wickshire, where they grew up. Little did the party know that this home was of the Aasimar. Callie and Griff were devastated to return to find it in ruins, but even more surprised that those ruins were ancient, and the Aasimar there had been dead for millennia or more. Callie was besought with a vision from her mentor, Plannells, who charged her and Griff with a sacred mission to save the world from demon princes tearing it asunder. Their first charge is to destroy the ancient black dragon that resides in The Dead Bogs near Ursladon. The charge from Plannells was joined with a boon that forced Callie to finally show her true face, that of the last Aasimar.
With the reveal out of the way, and next steps of tackling Wickshire’s problems of amassing hobgoblin and goblin hordes to the west, orcs to the south, and an ancient dragon looming close-by, the group thought it prudent to do a recon mission to check in on Grigtung and old allies.
With the rumor from Beau of activity near Swamp Tower, that’s where the group headed. They found the tower manned by Hobgoblins and when asking to speak to their leader, were met with a familiar face. Ilgur was the leader of the troop and welcomed Griff and party to give them grave news. Grigtung was dead, at the hands of the ancient dragon. Her child, a young black dragon, had been put in charge of sowing chaos and destroying Wickshire. Ilgur promised that if we managed to cut down the ancient black dragon, they could easily dispose of the child and withdraw the goblins to Ursladon.
With this intel, the group returned to Wickshire to plan next steps and await for Flint and Gimm to return from The Risen Halls.
